Eadestown commenced their league campaign away under lights in Leixlip on Friday March 13th. This was a good open game in the first half with Eadestown probably the better team but due to the concession of a goal mid way through the first half the went into the half time break on level terms 0-7 to 1.4.

Leixlip started much the better team in the second half and built up a five point lead but then Eadestown hit a purple patch boosted by a Pauric Tuohy goal and actually got themselves back level as the game entered the closing stages . Leixlip however regained control and with the help of three two pointers from ex county player Tommy Moolick they went on to a win on a scoreline of 1-15 to 1-12

Well done to Cian Cahill and Ben Nicholl who made their debut at this level and also our new player Michael O’Brien.
